The year was '69 and the muscle car world was abuzz over Dodge's second-year SuperBee and a honey of an engine! Midway through the model year, Dodge bolted an Edelbrock Hi-Riser intake manifold onto its 440 cid Magnum V8 and topped it with three two-barrel carbs, creating the Super Bee Six Pack. "Six Pack" was trumpeted on each side of the enormous functional hood scoop, and this Mopar stung the 1/4 mile in the mid-13s and raced from 0-60 MPH in 6.6 seconds. The modestly appointed Super Bee may have been a "no frills" muscle car, but powered by the Six Pack it was maximum thrills!
