The '68 Dodge Charger was restyled and runnin' wild, complete with new body lines, a hidden-headlight grilled and a refined tail. Dodge also introduced the R/T model as the leader unopposed of its infamous "Scat Pack." Of over 17,500 R/T models sold, just 475 received the almighty 426 Hemi which enabled the R/T to run the 1/4 mile in 13.8 seconds and race from 0-60 in 5.3. Exclusive R/T fare included an improved suspension, heavy-duty brakes and dual exhausts, and the rear deck "bumble bee" stripes were a popular way of warning unsuspecting prey!
