Bruce Larson's involvement with Pro stock with his USA-1 Camaro started after 7 years of racing Nitro Funny Cars. This '70 Camaro Rally Sport ran a 430 C.I. engine for legal racing and a 495 C.I. Bill Jenkins built "Mountain Motor" using 2/4bbl carburators on tunnel ram manifolds for match racing. The camaro ran a best 9.28 ET and 145-mph. Bruce larson went on to become the NHRA Funny Car World Champion in 1989, setting numerous world records along the way. Today, Bruce still tours this 1970 Camaro Rall Sportand his 1972 Vega to various events.
