Long known as the "California Flash" Butch Leal was one of drag racing's original "boy wonders" in the early sixties whan his dad bought him a 409 Chevrolet. Butch was part of the Chevrolet rebellion in 1070 and ran this 427 Z-28 Camaro in match races all over the country. the car won at carlsbad California, finished second at the winternationals and was third overall in Div VII season point standings, usual;ly running in the 9.9's ET and 138-139 MPH.
