| The Selby Daytona Coupe was the first car built using aerodynamics on a race car chassis design. It was also one of the first to use wind tunnel tests to reduce the drag of the car. Its roof was odd shaped, the rear end was chopped off and it had a movable wing on the rear. A triangulated sub frame over the twin-parallel-tube frame to increase the torsinal stiffness and a basic roll bar was added to increase chassis strength. In 1965, the Shelby's Coupes finally won World GT Championship over the dominated Ferrari team.
